Learn

Build something small enough to understand.

The goal is a useful project you can run, change and explain—not a collection of completed videos.

Start with one audience and one job.

Choose a resource guide, course-project catalogue or small portfolio. Write who it serves and the main thing a visitor should be able to do. Use sample records while you learn.

The path covers web foundations, ownership, content models, WordPress, Git, AI-assisted work, testing and handoff. You can use a local demonstration; buying services is not a prerequisite.

Keep the evidence as you go.

  • A working site or local demonstration.
  • A source repository with understandable changes.
  • A record of the important decisions and tests.
  • A short explanation another person can follow.

Teaching a group?

Select modules to fit your course and use the checks as discussion prompts. A small project with a clear explanation is a stronger outcome than a large site nobody can maintain.
