Four decades of self-performed renovation, framing and repair work in Central Florida — and a site that finally says so plainly.
Real work, shown as real work.
The inherited site was built on a page builder, and its testimonials were placeholder text that had been sitting on a live business site. That set the priorities for the rebuild.
- We cut the fake testimonials rather than invent replacements — the old site’s reviews were lorem ipsum. The honest options were real quotes or none — so the section came out until the client supplies real ones. Nothing on the new site is filler.
- Their own photographs, not stock — the galleries are this contractor’s actual projects, including genuine before-and-after pairs of the same house. Optimised down to roughly a quarter of their original weight so the site stays fast on a phone in a driveway.
- Off the page builder — rebuilt in native blocks, which means faster pages and — more importantly — a site the owner can still edit years from now without a licence or a specialist.
- A quote form built for the real conversation — budget range, project details, and how they heard about them. Enough friction to filter tyre-kickers, short enough that a serious homeowner finishes it.
The same bones
You’ll read this list on every build story. That’s deliberate — the architecture is the product.
- One house theme system — a shared parent theme with a light per-site child, so every fix strengthens every site.
- Native, editable blocks — owners maintain their own pages; nothing we ship breaks the editor.
- Forms-only contact — spam-filtered forms, never a printed email address.
- Real metrics only — one lightweight measurement rail; no vanity numbers.
- Search & answer-engine ready — clean structure, structured data, and instant indexing pings on every publish.
- Type that fits every screen — one fluid typography scale across the whole portfolio.
